Wayne Arute, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO for National Default Servicing, LLC, Wayne is responsible for the overall
performance of NDS client business. Wayne’s career in the industry began in 1984
when he formed Arute & Associates, a full service real estate appraisal firm. In
1986, he founded Prestige Properties Residential Real Estate. Wayne developed and
ran one of the most successful REO brokerage firms in the Northeast from 1987 to
2004, Prestige Properties Asset Management, a real estate brokerage firm specializing
in the marketing, management and disposition of bank and institutionally owned real
estate. He currently acts as a consultant for the firm and provides strategic
direction and innovation to its overall business plan. In 2003 Wayne predicted the
need for and developed the regional REO outsourcing firms in hot bed markets.
This movement has taken momentum throughout the industry and has positioned NDS as
the industry leader.

Larry Bird, Chief Operating Officer
Larry is charged with the oversight of the REO Department and the development of new business.
Larry’s background includes a broad range of mortgage banking experience spanning more than twenty
years in the industry. Prior to joining NDS he worked for LandAmerica with responsibility for
REO operations, BPO/Appraisal, trustee operations, and field services. His previous assignments
include GMAC RFC’s default operations in San Diego, including collections, loss mitigation,
foreclosure, and bankruptcy. Larry also served as Chief Risk Manager at GE Capital Mortgage,
managing various servicing, default, and customer service departments. Larry began his mortgage
banking career with Citi Mortgage, where he held senior management positions in originations,
credit, and servicing operations.
